Minimum of 8 people to maximum of 16 on any one course.

* What is food safety
* Law governing food safety
* Food poisoning - what it is and how you can be contaminated
* Temperatures - cooking, chilling and reheating food
* Storing food safely
* Personal hygiene
* Kitchen and cleaning
* Water purification
* Washing up outside
* Toilets - where to site them, how to dig them
* Environmental impacts - wildlife, water courses
Most of the day is interactive with group discussion, quizzes, handouts. There is also a workbook that will need to be filled in for the NCFE certificate.
